Your panels run the house during sunlight hours and store the surplus in your Tesla Powerwall 3. After sundown, the Powerwall takes over — the lights, the AC, the fridge, all running off the energy you produced earlier that day. Our engineering team produces the final drawings. We submit permits to the City of Moreno Valley and interconnection paperwork to SCE on your behalf. You don't need to do anything during this stage — we handle the entire packet. This is the stage your project is in right now.

Our crew installs the racking, panels, the integrated Tesla solar inverter, your Tesla Powerwall 3 battery, and wiring. Most installations are completed in a single day. Larger jobs spill into a second. The next section walks through what install day actually looks like.

A city inspector verifies the work. Once they sign off, SCE sends their inspector to verify the interconnection. We schedule both appointments and meet the inspectors on your behalf — you don't need to take time off work.

Permission to Operate

SCE issues Permission to Operate. The system flips on. Your meter starts running backward whenever you produce more than you consume, and your Powerwall begins charging from solar overflow. You'll get an email from us — and your first day of solar production lands on the Tesla app, with both production and battery state visible in one place, within 24 hours.

From PTO forward, you'll have the Tesla app on your phone. It shows what your system produces in real time, your Powerwall's state of charge, when the battery is discharging, and your home backup status during outages — production and storage in one place. Your PPA is your warranty. For 25 years, every part of the system — panels, inverter, Tesla Powerwall, workmanship, production — is covered. If something fails, Better Earth replaces it. If the system underproduces, the agreement makes it right. You pay only for the energy your system produces, never for repairs, equipment, or service calls. GoodLeap owns the system; Better Earth services it; you experience one number for the full twenty-five years. Su PPA es su garantía.
